This Privacy Policy explains how Sharad Khare (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit https://www.sharadkhare.in, use Sharad Khare consulting and advisory services, or interact with Samaya software and SAMAYA AI.

We aim to collect only what is necessary, use it responsibly, and be transparent about where data is stored — especially for tools that run in your browser.

The Sharad Khare website and its content pages
SAMAYA AI, the web-based numerology and timing assistant (with optional Vedic depth)
Information shared when you inquire about or engage in consulting, enterprise advisory, or private strategic advisory services
References to the Samaya desktop and mobile applications described on our Samaya platform page

Third-party platforms — such as LinkedIn, GitHub, app stores, and hosting providers — have their own privacy policies, which govern data you provide directly to them.

2. Information we collect

Website visits. Like most websites, standard server and security logs may record technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. These logs help maintain security, diagnose errors, and understand general usage patterns.

Contact and advisory inquiries. If you reach out via LinkedIn or other channels, the information you choose to share (name, organization, message content, and related details) is handled according to that platform’s policies and our engagement practices. We do not operate on-site contact forms that store submissions in a database.

Consulting engagements. When you enter a formal advisory or consulting relationship, we may collect and process additional business and personal information as agreed in scope documents, proposals, or confidentiality agreements.

SAMAYA AI (browser storage). SAMAYA AI stores certain data locally in your web browser — not on our servers — including:

Client profiles you choose to save (such as name, date of birth, optional birth time and place, and notes)
Chat session preferences (language, calculation style, theme, and similar settings)
Recent conversation topics and chat history for session continuity on your device

This local data remains on your device unless you clear it through SAMAYA AI settings, your browser storage controls, or by removing saved client profiles. On shared or public devices, you should clear saved client data when finished.

Samaya applications. Downloadable Samaya software (Windows installer and Android builds of the Flutter app) may store charts, preferences, and related data on your device. Optional signed-in cloud kundli sync uses our backend when you choose it. Refer to in-app documentation and store listings for application-specific data practices.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

Respond to inquiries and evaluate advisory fit
Deliver consulting and enterprise advisory services under agreed scope
Operate, secure, and improve the website and SAMAYA AI experience
Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell personal information. We do not use SAMAYA AI browser-stored client profiles for advertising profiles, and those profiles are not transmitted to our servers as part of normal chat operation unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise.

4. Legal bases and consent

Where applicable, we process information based on your consent (for example, information you voluntarily provide), performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (advisory engagements), legitimate interests (site security and service improvement), or legal obligation.

We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use online services at your own risk and should protect access to your devices and accounts.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information. For SAMAYA AI, you can remove saved clients and clear local data at any time through the in-app settings. For advisory-related requests, contact us using the details below.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

10. International visitors

Visitors from outside India should note that information may be processed in jurisdictions where our hosting and service providers operate. By using the site, you acknowledge this cross-border processing where applicable.
